Be Free

What does it mean to be free?

As I was lying in my bed today, trying to get better, I was thinking about God and checking out things my mother posted on Facebook. I followed her links and saw this video. The actual music and signing on it starts around 1:07. I grew tired of waiting and skipped ahead to where the music began. I looked at the bottom underneath the video and saw that it was done by an UPCI church in Singapore. You see, I have been learning how to play this song and sing it for a few months now. I fell in love with this song from the moment I heard it. I love how Israel sings of NATIONS being set free.

The Bible says no man can come unto Jesus unless that person is drawn. I love how the song calls out to nations to be set FREE. There are things that I call "Spiritual Strong-Holds" on nations. The binding spirit of nations MUST be broken for Jesus to reach them. This is why we send missionaries and AIM workers. They help teach the gospel and pray against strongholds.

As I continued watching the video I noticed how the sign for "Be Free" and "Worship" were almost exactly the same. My mind began to race. Is this why we lift our hands? Is that the reason why the devil tries to get people not to lift their hands? Does he know that if they lift their hands and begin to worship, they will be set free? I say, "YES."

When you lift your hands and begin to worship Jesus, you begin to be set free. You have to prove to the devil that the One who lives inside of you is stronger than what the devil can throw at you. You must lift your hands and show the devil that YOU ARE FREE. The devil knows that if he can just get you to stay still, you will feel the chains and weights on you. He knows that if he can defeat you before you begin to fight, you will never try to fight. The devil also knows a secret that you don't. He knows your God. You see, the Devil was the head of worship before he was kicked out of Heaven. When you worship, you remind the devil of where he will never be able to go again. You remind him that you are one day going to be there that place.

Why do you think worship is so powerful? It lets the Devil see that you will take his place and it allows God to come and sit with you. I leave you with this final thought....How badly do you want to be set free?
